Project Summary

Seeds of the Future is a cultural and educational program designed to support the children of coffee-growing and migrant families colombian in USA. Through workshops, games, art, and community activities, the initiative seeks to strengthen their identity, connection to coffee traditions, and access to holistic development—so that these seeds grow strong, rooted in their heritage.

Why This Matters

Many children in rural coffee regions are exposed to precarious conditions—economic instability, migration, and limited access to educational or cultural resources. Despite this, they carry immense potential. This program creates safe spaces where they can play, learn, and grow while staying connected to their cultural roots.

By funding this project, you are giving these children a chance not only to dream, but to believe that their origin is not a limitation—it is their strength.

Additionally, this initiative contributes to ensuring that Colombian children living abroad do not lose their connection to the rich culture and coffee-growing heritage of their homeland, helping them stay proud of their roots no matter where they are.

What the Program Includes

• Weekly cultural workshops (music, dance, crafts, storytelling)

• Educational activities focused on literacy, environmental awareness, and values

• Nutritious snacks during activities

• Learning kits (books, paint, materials)

• Safe and nurturing learning environments with trained facilitators

• Family integration activities (celebrations, parent workshops)

Target Group

• Children between 5 and 14 years old from coffee-growing or migrant families

• Priority to rural and economically vulnerable zones

• Special focus on children whose parents are seasonal or migrant workers

Impact Goals

• Directly impact 100 children in the first phase

• Strengthen cultural identity and sense of belonging

• Foster emotional well-being and basic learning skills

• Reduce early school dropout risks through positive stimulation
